I’m Britanie—the makeup artist, CEO, and Soft Glam Maven behind HumbleHerGlam.
At just 19 years old, I turned to makeup as a way to feel better about myself. But God had a greater plan. He stripped that desire from me and reminded me of a powerful truth: You are perfectly designed in His image. When He gave makeup back to me, it wasn’t just a skill—it came with a mission: to bring His daughters closer to Him, the Creator of true beauty.

Today, I know that makeup isn’t about masking flaws; it’s about celebrating and magnifying what God has already created—always giving glory to Him.

Doing It Afraid
In August 2024, at the age of 28, the enemy tried to stop me from pursuing this calling after I was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS). I’ve faced numbness, fatigue, and more, but through every challenge, I’ve leaned on God’s promise:
"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13)
This year, I embraced a new mantra: “Doing it Afraid.” I’ve learned that God’s greatest plans often lie just beyond our comfort zones. Makeup isn’t just a tool for transformation; it’s a reminder of the divine beauty within you.
My Philosophy
At 19, I thought beauty came from layers of makeup. But through years of self-discovery, I’ve learned that true beauty shines when we embrace who God made us to be. I believe everyone has a God-given talent meant to glorify Him. Now, when I do makeup, it’s not about changing myself or you—it’s about amplifying the perfect, God-given features that make you uniquely beautiful, so that God, the Creator, receives the glory and you draw closer to Him through the art of beauty.

I don’t see makeup as a mask—I see it as a celebration of the lords handiwork. My goal is to magnify the reflection of God’s heart in you by showcasing the beautiful features He has already given you. When you leave my chair, I want you to feel cherished and radiant, knowing that true beauty comes from embracing who God created you to be.
